They are an ethnolinguistic subgroup of Baloch, a nomadic, pastoral, Western Iranic ethnic group native to the Balochistan region of South and Western Asia . They are an Diaspora people, in the Baloch people cluster of the Persian-Median affinity bloc. Their primary religion is Islam - Sunni. They primarily speak Balochi, Southern.
