The Chechens of Russian Federation, numbering approximately 1,365,000 people, are Engaged yet Unreached. They are an ethnic group native to the North Caucasus region of southwestern Russia and can also be known as Nikhchiy. They are an Indigenous people, in the Caucasus people cluster of the Eurasian Peoples affinity bloc. Their primary religion is Islam - Sunni. They primarily speak Chechen.
