The Kabyle of Algeria

The Kabyle of Algeria, numbering approximately 6,795,000 people, are Engaged yet Unreached. They are an Amazigh (Berber) people indigenous to the mountainous region of Kabylia in northern Algeria. They are one of the largest Amazigh populations in North Africa and are distinguished by their language and strong regional identity. They are an Indigenous people in the Amazigh-Kabyle people cluster of the Arab Peoples affinity bloc. Their primary language is Kabyle and their primary religion is Folk Islam.
