The Ahmadiya of India

The Ahmadiya of India, numbering approximately 7,200 people, are Engaged yet Unreached. They are an ethnoreligious community founded in 1889 in Punjab, India. The Ahmadiyya are a global Islamic reform movement founded by Mirza Ghulam Ahmad, that interprets jihad as a spiritual struggle (moral and personal) rather than as armed conflict. They mostly adhere to Sunni Islam and Urdu is their primary language.
