The Runjalavallu of India

The Runjalavallu of India, numbering approximately 250 people, are Engaged yet Unreached. They are a small community of Srikakulam district, Andhra Pradesh, traditionally mendicant musicians and myth-narrators for the VishwaBrahmin caste cluster. Agricultural labor and tailoring have largely replaced this ceremonial role. They mostly adhere to Hinduism and Telugu is their primary language.
