The Kolta of India

The Kolta of India, numbering approximately 832,000 people, are Engaged yet Unreached. They are a landowning agricultural community of Balangir, Sambalpur, and Sundargarh districts in Odisha. Cultivation remains their main occupation, supplemented by cattle and goat rearing. They mostly adhere to Hinduism and Chhattisgarhi is their primary language.
