The Qazi of India

The Qazi of India, numbering approximately 49,500 people, are Engaged yet Unreached. They are a Muslim judicial community of Gujarat whose name means judge, ranked above the Sheikh but below the Sayyed, once serving as religious judges and imams. Teaching, conducting marriages, and medicine-making now support most families. They mostly adhere to Sunni Islam and Urdu is their primary language.
