The Foodo of Benin

The Foodo of Benin, numbering approximately 55,000 people, are Unengaged and Unreached. They are a Guang-speaking enclave of northern Benin's Ouake commune whose ancestors migrated from southern Ghana two to three centuries ago along the ancient kola-nut trade route, founding the town of Semere amid Fulfulde-speaking neighbors. They mostly adhere to Folk Islam and Foodo is their primary language.

And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age."
