Overview:
The Arain are described as a gardening and cultivating caste, largely settled in Delhi, Punjab, Himachal Pradesh and Bihar. They follow the Sunni sect of Islam. While the majority are landholders, engaged in traditional cultivation and animal husbandry, some are employed in government or private jobs.
