The Washo of United States, numbering approximately 1,500 people, are No Longer Unreached. They are a Native American tribe indigenous to the Great Basin region, primarily around Lake Tahoe, which straddles the border of California and Nevada. They are also known as Wa She Shu, Waší:šiw. They are an Indigenous people in the North American Indigenous people cluster of the North American Peoples affinity bloc. Their primary language is English and their primary religion is Protestantism.
