The Chinuk Wawa of United States, numbering approximately 650 people, are No Longer Unreached. They are a pidgin and later creole language subgroup of the Chinookan peoples of the Pacific Northwest. Chinuk Wawa was a trade language that developed in the Columbia River region. They are an Indigenous people in the North American Indigenous people cluster of the North American Peoples affinity bloc. Their primary language is English and their primary religion is Protestantism.
