The Adi Dharmi of India

The Adi Dharmi of India, numbering approximately 1,570,000 people, are No Longer Unreached. They are described as a Scheduled Caste community of Punjab's Doaba region, historically Chamar leatherworkers, who adopted the name from the 1920s Ad Dharm movement claiming an original faith distinct from Hinduism. They are noted for craftsmanship in Jalandhar's sports They are an Indigenous people, with Ad Dharmi / Adi Dharmi as their ethnic/kinship group and are in the Punjabi people cluster of the South Asian Peoples. Their primary religion is Folk Hinduism. They primarily speak Hindi.
