The Georgians of Turkiye

The Georgians of Turkiye, numbering approximately 181,000 people, are Unengaged and Unreached. They are a Georgian-speaking Muslim community of Turkiye's Black Sea region, descended from converts to Islam under Ottoman rule. Unlike most Georgians, who remain Orthodox Christian, this community keeps the Kartvelian language with a Sunni identity. They mostly adhere to Sunni Islam and Georgian is their primary language.
