They are an ethnic group in Myanmar (Burma) who are of mixed Chinese and Burmese descent They are an Indigenous people, in the Chinese people cluster of the East Asian Peoples affinity bloc. Their primary religion is Buddhism - Theravada. They primarily speak Burmese.
