The Bideyat of Sudan

The Bideyat of Sudan, numbering approximately 13,000 people, are Engaged yet Unreached. They are one of two sub-groups of the Beri (Kige), a large ethnic group who live on the border of Chad and Sudan. They are also known as Beri. They are an Indigenous people in the Kanuri-Saharan people cluster of the Sub-Saharan African Peoples affinity bloc. Their primary language is Zaghawa and their primary religion is Sunni Islam.
