They are an Arabian ethnic group indigenous to the Al-Mahra governorate in Yemen and the Al Wusta and Dhofar governorates of Oman They are an Indigenous people, in the Arab, Arabian people cluster of the Arab Peoples affinity bloc. Their primary religion is Islam - Folk. They primarily speak Mehri.
