The Qanu of China

The Qanu of China, numbering approximately 14,500 people, are Unengaged and Unreached. They are described as a subgroup of Miao located in villages south of the city of Kaili, in China'a Guizhou Province (Hattaway 2000) They are an Indigenous people, with Qanu as their ethnic/kinship group and are in the Miao / Hmong people cluster of the Southeast Asian Peoples. Their primary religion is Animism. They primarily speak Miao, Northern Qiandong.
