The Sharchop of Bhutan, numbering approximately 99,000 people, are Engaged yet Unreached. They are a major Indigenous ethnic group of Bhutan, primarily inhabiting the eastern part of the country. The Sharchop are a Trans-Himalayan people of mixed Tibetan, South Asian, and Southeast Asian ancestry. They are an Indigenous people, in the Bhutanese people cluster of the Tibetan Peoples affinity bloc. Their primary religion is Buddhism - Tibetan. They primarily speak Tshangla.
