The Baga Sitemu of Guinea, numbering approximately 48,000 people, are Unengaged and Unreached. They are described as an ethnolinguistic subgroup of the larger Baga people of north-western Guinea. The Baga are known for their agricultural and fishing practices and can also be known as Tchitem, Sitemuú, Rio Pongo Baga. They are an Indigenous people, with Baga as their ethnic/kinship group and are in the Atlantic people cluster of the Sub-Saharan African Peoples. Their primary religion is Folk Islam. They primarily speak Baga Sitemu.
