The Macanese of Macao, numbering approximately 8,800 people, are No Longer Unreached. They are an ethnic group of mixed Portuguese and Cantonese descent whose identity originated in Portuguese Colonial Macau and can also be known as Macaense, 土生葡人, Maquista. They are an Indigenous people, in the Other Southeast Asian people cluster of the Southeast Asian Peoples affinity bloc. Their primary religion is Christianity - Non-Evangelical Protestant. They primarily speak Yue Chinese.
