The Galiara of India, numbering approximately 550 people, are Unengaged and Unreached. They are a Muslim community of Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, and Odisha whose name derives from the indigo plant gali, traditionally extracting indigo dye for blankets and turbans after their ancestors' conversion from Hinduism generations ago. They are an Indigenous people in the Gujarati people cluster of the South Asian Peoples affinity bloc. Their primary language is Gujarati and their primary religion is Sunni Islam.
