The Cheeta of India

The Cheeta of India, numbering approximately 18,000 people, are Engaged yet Unreached. They are a Marwari-speaking agricultural community of Rajasthan concentrated in a small cluster of villages near Ajmer. They call themselves Cheeta Thakur, tracing their name to Cheeta Khan, and include both Hindu and Muslim sections. They are an Indigenous people in the Rajput people cluster of the South Asian Peoples affinity bloc. Their primary language is Marwari (India) and their primary religion is Hinduism.
