The Namdeo of India, numbering approximately 3,800 people, are Unengaged and Unreached. They are a vegetarian community of Raisen, Vidisha, Sagar, and Bhopal districts, Madhya Pradesh, named for the saint Nama Deva, tracing origin to Maharashtra's tailor castes. Tailoring remains primary, alongside business and service. They are an Indigenous people in the Marathi-Konkani people cluster of the South Asian Peoples affinity bloc. Their primary language is Hindi and their primary religion is Hinduism.
