The Dayare of India, numbering approximately 1,900 people, are Unengaged and Unreached. They are described as an Urdu-speaking, Muslim community of Middle Eastern origins or ancestry, living especially along the Kerala–Karnataka–Tamil Nadu coastal corridor They are an Indigenous people, with Dayare as their ethnic/kinship group and are in the Bengali people cluster of the South Asian Peoples. They mostly adhere to Sunni Islam and Urdu is their primary language.
