The Jati Pillai of India, numbering approximately 4,600 people, are Unengaged and Unreached. They are a semi-nomadic community of Tamil Nadu traditionally serving as acrobats and jugglers for their Vanniyar patrons, from whom they periodically receive alms. They are Hindu with a rich oral folklore tradition. They are an Indigenous people in the Vanniyan people cluster of the South Asian Peoples affinity bloc. Their primary language is Telugu and their primary religion is Hinduism.
