The Jati Pillai of India

The Jati Pillai of India, numbering approximately 4,600 people, are Unengaged and Unreached.
They are described as a semi-nomadic community of Tamil Nadu traditionally serving as acrobats and jugglers for their Vanniyar patrons, from whom they periodically receive alms. They are Hindu with a rich oral folklore tradition.
They are an Indigenous people in the Vanniyan people cluster of the South Asian Peoples affinity bloc.
Telugu is their primary language and Hinduism is their primary religion.
