The Cingatanmar of India, numbering approximately 1,200 people, are Unengaged and Unreached. They are a Kerala community of Kannur district whose name derives from a ritual devil dance performed during the month of Chingam, traditionally engaged in bee-keeping, basket-making, and hunting and gathering. They are an Indigenous people in the Malayali people cluster of the South Asian Peoples affinity bloc. Their primary language is Malayalam and their primary religion is Hinduism.
