The Manjygur Muslims of India

The Manjygur Muslims of India, numbering approximately 250 people, are Unengaged and Unreached. They are a Sunni Muslim community of Kashmiri street food vendors (fish pakora, nadru, chestnuts) concentrated in Srinagar. The Manjygur speak both Urdu and Kashmiri and use the Perso-Arabic scripts. Today, some also engage in agriculture, service, and business. They mostly adhere to Sunni Islam and Urdu is their primary language.
