The Ratal of India, numbering approximately 2,800 people, are No Longer Unreached. They are a distinct Hindu Scheduled Caste (Dalit) community found primarily in Jammu & Kashmir (especially the Jammu region) of northern India They are an Indigenous people, in the Punjabi people cluster of the South Asian Peoples affinity bloc. Their primary religion is Hinduism. They primarily speak Dogri.
