The Kunui of India

The Kunui of India, numbering approximately 900 people, are Engaged yet Unreached. They are a small community of Birbhum and Murshidabad districts in West Bengal, identified as weavers or as Konra for their pond-digging role. Weaving and farm labor remain their main occupations. They are an Indigenous people in the Bihari people cluster of the South Asian Peoples affinity bloc. Their primary language is Bengali and their primary religion is Hinduism.
