The Pando of India

The Pando of India, numbering approximately 2,200 people, are Engaged yet Unreached. They are a Scheduled Tribe of Surguja and Bilaspur districts in Madhya Pradesh tracing mythical descent from the Pandava of the Mahabharata. Forest produce and coarse-grain cultivation remain their main occupations. They mostly adhere to Hinduism and Chhattisgarhi is their primary language.
