The Nyaria of India

The Nyaria of India, numbering approximately 3,200 people, are Unengaged and Unreached. They are a migrant community of western Rajasthan calling themselves Pathan or Sheikh, their name recalling the trade of separating precious metals from a goldsmith's refuse. Agriculture supplements their precious metals trade. They mostly adhere to Sunni Islam and Mewari is their primary language.
