The Gadhai of India

The Gadhai of India, numbering approximately 750 people, are Unengaged and Unreached. They are a Muslim community of Saurashtra in Gujarat whose name may derive from their history as cow-herders or their traditional keeping of donkeys, about half of whom still earn a living transporting and selling salt by cart or donkey. They mostly adhere to Sunni Islam and Gujarati is their primary language.
