The Kham Tibetans of Bhutan

The Kham Tibetans of Bhutan, numbering approximately 1,200 people, are Unengaged and Unreached. They are an ethnolinguistic subgroup of Tibetans indigenous to the Kham region encompassing parts of the Chinese provinces of Sichuan, Yunnan, Qinghai, and eastern Tibet and can also be known as Kham, Kam, Kang, Khampas, Konkaling, Konka, Khams Bhotia, Khams-Yal. They are an Diaspora people, in the Tibetan people cluster of the Tibetan / Himalayan Peoples affinity bloc. Their primary religion is Buddhism - Tibetan. They primarily speak Tibetan, Khams.
