The Kham Tibetans of Bhutan

The Kham Tibetans of Bhutan, numbering approximately 1,200 people, are Unengaged and Unreached.
They are described as an ethnolinguistic subgroup of Tibetans indigenous to the Kham region encompassing parts of the Chinese provinces of Sichuan, Yunnan, Qinghai, and eastern Tibet and can also be known as Kham, Kam, Kang, Khampas, Konkaling, Konka, Khams Bhotia, Khams-Yal.
They are an Diaspora people, with Khampa as their ethnic/kinship group and are in the Tibetan people cluster of the Tibetan / Himalayan Peoples.
Their primary religion is Buddhism - Tibetan.
They primarily speak Tibetan, Khams.

The Kham Tibetans are Unengaged and Unreached, which means there are less than 2% evangelical Christian populations among which there are no known efforts focused on establishing self-sustaining churches consistent with evangelical faith and practice.
