The Mobwa Karen of Myanmar

The Mobwa Karen of Myanmar, numbering approximately 4,500 people, are No Longer Unreached. They are a small, distinct Karen subgroup in eastern Myanmar, defined by their own language and local identity, but still part of the broader Karen ethnic family. They are an Indigenous people in the Karen people cluster of the Southeast Asian Peoples affinity bloc. Their primary language is Karen, Mobwa and their primary religion is Protestantism.
