The Songhai of Burkina Faso, numbering approximately 255,000 people, are Unengaged and Unreached. They are an ethnolinguistic community of Burkina Faso, Hombori area, halfway between Gao and Mopti . They are an Indigenous people, in the Songhai people cluster of the Sub-Saharan African affinity bloc. Their primary religion is Islam - Sunni. They primarily speak Songhay, Humburi Senni.
