The Muslim Kachera of India, numbering approximately 2,500 people, are Unengaged and Unreached. They are a Sunni Muslim subgroup of the larger Hindu Kacher community of glass bangle makers and sellers found across Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, and Odisha. Their name derives from kancha, meaning glass. They are an Indigenous people in the Odia people cluster of the South Asian Peoples affinity bloc. Their primary language is Urdu and their primary religion is Sunni Islam.
