The Sorani Kurds of Iran, numbering approximately 3,600,000 people, are Engaged yet Unreached. They are an indigenous community of Iran; a dialect subgroup of Central Kurdish (ckb) and can also be known as Southern Kurd, Kurdi, Mukri, Carduchi, Sorani. They are an Indigenous people, in the Kurd people cluster of the Persian-Median affinity bloc. Their primary religion is Islam - Sunni. They primarily speak Kurdish, Central.
