The Lao of United States, numbering approximately 235,000 people, are Engaged yet Unreached. They are a diaspora community of Laotians in the United States and can also be known as Laotian. They are an Diaspora people, in the Lao people cluster of the Southeast Asian Peoples affinity bloc. Their primary religion is Buddhism - Theravada. They primarily speak Lao.
