They are an Austronesian ethnic community of Tagalog-speaking people who are citizens of, or immigrants from, the Philippines. They are an Diaspora people in the Filipino, Central people cluster of the Malay Peoples affinity bloc. Their primary language is Tagalog and their primary religion is Roman Catholicism.
