They are a Nilotic ethnolinguistic group indigenous to the Greater Kapoeta region of Eastern Equatoria in South Sudan. They are an Diaspora people, in the Nilotic people cluster of the Sub-Saharan African Peoples affinity bloc. Their primary religion is Animism. They primarily speak Toposa.
