The Bargunda of India, numbering approximately 32,000 people, are No Longer Unreached. They are described as a Scheduled Caste occupational community of Madhya Pradesh whose traditional livelihood centers on basketry and mat-weaving. They speak Telugu and are organized into two clans, the Kabadia and the Satpadia They are an Indigenous people, with Bargunda as their ethnic/kinship group and are in the Hindi people cluster of the South Asian Peoples. Their primary religion is Hinduism. They primarily speak Telugu.
