The Tattan of India, numbering approximately 53,000 people, are Engaged yet Unreached. They are a Kerala goldsmithing community also called Swarnapanikkan, claiming descent from the divine architect Vishwakarma. Jewelry-making remains traditional, alongside shop ownership and white-collar jobs. They are an Indigenous people in the Malayali people cluster of the South Asian Peoples affinity bloc. Their primary language is Malayalam and their primary religion is Hinduism.
