The Juang of India

The Juang of India, numbering approximately 61,000 people, are No Longer Unreached. They are a Scheduled Tribe of Keonjhar and Dhenkanal districts in Odisha speaking the Kolarian Juang language. They traditionally depend on shifting cultivation and forest produce, governed by a secular village council. They are an Indigenous people in the South Asian Tribal people cluster of the South Asian Peoples affinity bloc. Their primary language is Juang and their primary religion is Ethnoreligion.
