The Silawat of India

The Silawat of India, numbering approximately 67,500 people, are Engaged yet Unreached. They are a Scheduled Caste of Indore, Bhopal, and Gwalior districts, Madhya Pradesh, who migrated from Ajmer, Rajasthan, their name recalling stone-work. Stone-cutting and idol-carving remain traditional, alongside agriculture and labor. They mostly adhere to Hinduism and Bundeli is their primary language.
