The Alia Kachchi of India, numbering approximately 6,700 people, are Unengaged and Unreached. They are an occupational caste community of Hindu Malvi speakers in Ujjain, Dhar and Indore districts of Madhya Pradesh who historically cultivated Indian madder for red dye production. They are an Indigenous people, in the Hindi people cluster of the South Asian Peoples affinity bloc. Their primary religion is Hinduism. They primarily speak Malvi.
