They are an occupational caste of Hindu hunters traditionally distributed in Rajasthan and Delhi, speaking Harauti and Hindi, now primarily engaged in agriculture and flower selling. They are an Indigenous people in the Rajasthani people cluster of the South Asian Peoples affinity bloc. Their primary language is Hindi and their primary religion is Folk Hinduism.
