The Deshwali of India

The Deshwali of India, numbering approximately 184,000 people, are Engaged yet Unreached. They are a Muslim community of Rajasthan descended from Rajput Kshatriya soldiers converted to Islam during Mohammed Ghori's invasion, whose name signifies protector of the country, and who remain primarily landowning cultivators. They are an Indigenous people in the Hindi people cluster of the South Asian Peoples affinity bloc. Their primary language is Urdu and their primary religion is Sunni Islam.
