The Baori of India

The Baori of India, numbering approximately 452,000 people, are No Longer Unreached. They are a caste community of nomadic traders in Gujarat and Rajasthan, claiming Rajput descent from Marwar, speaking Gujarati, organized into three occupational divisions: the Kapadia, who sell old garments, the Magnia, who beg, and the Chatnia. They are an Indigenous people in the Rajasthani people cluster of the South Asian Peoples affinity bloc. Their primary language is Marwari (India) and their primary religion is Hinduism.
